These chips are labeled as "spicy" on the menu, and while they don't seem to be very hot to me (I'm a chili head) they do have a good flavor. They get bonus points for being fresh and house made, not frozen from a bag. The downfall for these chips is that due to their thickness, they seem to be inconstantly cooked.
While they due emerge from the kitchen piping hot, half of the order will have mushy pickles and / or semi-raw batter. At first thought I would say that they need to fry them longer, but this may just lead to soggier pickles. Whatever the solution is I hope they figure it out as these do have some great potential behind them!
