With the exception of our "winter months" here in Austin, every Thursday evening riders from all over the area assemble here for Bike Night. The weather was perfect yesterday so my buddy and I rolled out and hit up a couple bars, this being our last stop. The turnout was decent with around 40 or so bikes and the place was pretty busy. That being said, if it wasn't for them hosting Bike Night then I doubt I would ever frequent this place.

I received a hot tip not too long ago that they were now serving "Crispy Fried Pickles", which oddly enough weren't listed on the menu at this location. However I did ask and a massive basket I did receive. Since they are labeled as crispy, I had no doubt that they would be in chip form. What I was not prepared for however was the insane amount of grease that would be accompanying them. There were literally pools of oil at the bottom of my basket of chips. So much that I didn't even eat the bottom layer - I just left them there to float around and enjoy the nice evening air.

Outside of that, they were some of the saltiest pickles I've ever tasted. Instead of, at least what my palette imaged was someone meticulously rubbing each individual chip up and down a salt block before plating them, why not skip the salt and instead use the same cajun style seasoning you put on your french fries? Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. Until then, perhaps it is best these are left off the menu until they learn to drain them from the fryer and season properly.
